How to import a collect file

I'm using the free trial and want to import a collect file but I can't seem to figure it out. I don't see where it gives me that option.

Under the Local selection it just shows me 3 already existing projects, but I don't see a way to import one from a folder on my c drive.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know what a collect file is, but videoscribe only imports jpg, png, svg, mp3 and the native .scribe file format.

If that does not answer you question, please describe the question in more detail.

I can't figure out how to import any files. I've attached a screenshot showing what I see when on the import screen. It can't be this difficult can it?

That is just the directory for locally saved scribes. From there you can open the three locally saved sample scribes.

If you want to import a complete scribe file made by another user, You cannot do that with the trial version. You have to be a paying member

If you mean that you want to create a new scribe, you start by clicking the blue CREATE button in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

After that you can import jpg, svg or png files by clicking the pencil icon.

Looks like I have to use the paid version to import a scribe from a different user.

Thanks for the help.
