Pan and zoom same image

  • Is there any way I can set the camera lock on one view of an image, and then pan and zoom to another view of the same image?

  • Sure!

    1) place the camera where you want it to start for that image. Select the image (click it once in the timeline). click "set camera".
    2) add a dummy image (preferably something simple with a small file size)

    3) move the camera to the next position , select the dummy image in the timeline, click "set camera"

    4) move the dummy image somewhere off screen where it will not be seen, or make it 100% transparent.
    5) (you may also want to set the hand to "no hand" for that image)
    6) (adjust all of your draw time, transition times and pauses however you want them)

  • Thanks, Mike! I never even thought of that ;-)

  • Is this option available for trial version. I am running a trial version and the cmera is not activated for my version.

  • Yes it is exactly the same for free trial users. If you are having trouble getting started, you may want to watch the tutorial videos and bootcamp sessions on the INSTANT ANSWERS page.
