I'm creating a Scribe and would like to erase text, then write new text where the old used to be.
I understand how to use the invisible "scribble out" image to erase my text, but now when I try to create new text on top of the "scribble out" image, the new text also disappears. Is there something I can do to avoid this / work around this issue?

Make sure to add the new text after the scribble in your timeline at the bottom of the screen.
If you are doing that but still seeing a problem, then try saving your work and restarting videoscribe.
