Publishing Myscribe

  • I am having trouble publishing my scribe onto Youtube or into a Powerpoint presentation. Frankly, I have a presentation today at 4:00, so any format will do. When I had a free trial, when uploading to Youtube, the video says that it is still processing. I received a code to paste into an application, but I am not sure what that means.  When I tried to convert it into a Powerpoint, it loaded, and I had the option to save it onto my desktop, but after I clicked save, the file doesnt show up on my computer. I purchased a yearly membership, hoping that would help, but so far no luck. Please help! Thank you!

  • Hi,
failure to render usually indicates a problem with your scribe file. Often oversize image files or excessive camera settings are the problem.

    1) When there are problems with your scribe that prevent it from rendering or exporting, the easiest trick to try is to save a copy with a new name, restart videoscribe and try to render the new copy.

    2) You could try rendering it as an MOV and then uploading the video instead of rendering  directly to youtube.

    3) Your youtube channel must be created and verified by email and set to public I believe, for a direct upload

    4) Avoid oversize images and avoid camera zoom percentages that are outside of the 50%-1000% range approximately.

    5) if you want support to provide specific feedback then save your work online and tell
    support the name of it.

    6) if you want community feedback, export your work file and attach it here.
