Move text on the canvas

  • I need to move a text from one point to other on the canvas.

How can I do it in an easy way?

I tried as suggested here but I don't understand: http://help.videoscribe.co/support/discussions/topics/1000037304

Should I create an SVG or the text created by VideoScribe is enough?

    Thanks for advance.

  • You could make the text an image and that will allow you to morph but you don't need to as you can write the text in, blank it out with a white image and then move the same text in elsewhere. if you use 0 draw time the result is fairly good. Video linked and scribe attached to show you how this works.

  • I understand the challenge with this - in VideoScribe the objects (text, graphics) you add are stationary and the canvas moves. This allows for some awesome effects but does mean that animated pathways for individual objects are not available. My workaround is to create several short VideoScribes and download each as separately. Then I import them into Camtasia and edit from there. It's actually pretty quick once you have a script and shot list in place. I used this process for a 5 minute video that required lots of different animations - linked below.
