[Subscriptions and payments](https://help.videoscribe.co/knowledge/accounts-billing?hsLang=en#subscriptions-and-payments) # Cancelling your VideoScribe subscription ## You can cancel your subscription at any time after your first payment has been taken, and up to three business days before your next scheduled payment Log into your account on the [VideoScribe website](http://www.videoscribe.co/account/subscriptions/) and select the ‘Subscriptions’ section in the **left-hand panel**.  1. Select '**Cancel subscription**' from the '**Manage**' menu in the top right corner of your subscription card  2. On the next screen click '**Yes, continue to cance**l' to confirm you wish to proceed 3. You will need to let us know the reason you're leaving and then click '**Continue to cancel**' to complete the process Once confirmed, you will see the message, '**Your subscription has been successfully cancelled**' and an email will be sent confirming the cancellation. The subscription will then display the end date.  **Please note:** Once you have cancelled your subscription, you will still be able to use VideoScribe up until the subscription's expiry date. ![](https://help.videoscribe.co/hs-fs/hubfs/Cancel%20Subscription-gif.gif?width=670&height=377&name=Cancel%20Subscription-gif.gif) **Important**: If you do not receive an email it could mean your cancellation was not successful. Accounts will be marked for deletion 90 days after your subscription expires.
