We continue to support it, but we recommend switching to the [latest version](https://www.videoscribe.co/app/) to enjoy the newest features and best performance. Click here to [download the VideoScribe Legacy Windows installer file](https://s3.amazonaws.com/cloud-files.sparkol.com/downloads/vs/latest/VideoScribe64.msi) **Note:** By default, most browsers will save the install file to your ‘Downloads’ folder. 2. Go to your Downloads folder and double-click on the **VideoScribe64.msi** file 3. Click ‘Next’, ‘Next’ and then ‘Install’ to install the software with the default settings 4. Click here to [download the VideoScribe Legacy Mac installer file](https://s3.amazonaws.com/cloud-files.sparkol.com/downloads/vs/latest/VideoScribe.dmg) **Note:** By default, most browsers will save the install file to your ‘Downloads’ folder. 2. Go to your Downloads folder and double-click on the **VideoScribe.dmg** file 3. Drag and drop the VideoScribe icon onto the Applications folder ![image6](https://help.videoscribe.co/hs-fs/hubfs/image6.gif?width=600&height=375&name=image6.gif) If you get an error when double-clicking on the .dmg file, you need to Ctrl-click on it instead and select ‘Open’ from the menu. VideoScribe Legacy is now installed. You can click the VideoScribe icon to open the application and later you can find VideoScribe in your Applications folder in Finder.  If you're upgrading VideoScribe Legacy from an earlier version, just replace the existing application with the latest version of the app in your Applications folder.
