# Using VideoScribe Legacy on more than one computer

## Learn how to log in VideoScribe Legacy from more than one device

**Please note:** *VideoScribe Legacy* is the older version of our software. We continue to support it, but we recommend switching to the [latest version](https://www.videoscribe.co/app/) to enjoy the best features and performance.

### **Legacy version**

You don't need a licence key to [download and install VideoScribe Legacy](https://help.videoscribe.co/knowledge/downloading-and-installing-videoscribe-legacy?hsLang=en), you can do this on as many computers as you need to. When you open the application you'll be asked to log in and this is how your subscription status is checked.

Your account can only be logged into VideoScribe Legacy on one computer at a time so please make sure you close the application when you've finished using it, just in case your next login needs to be from another computer.

By default, VideoScribe Legacy saves your scribes on the computer you're currently using. To access the same scribe project across different computers, you'll need to [save your scribe to the online scribes folder](https://help.videoscribe.co/knowledge/save-scribes-on-your-computer-and-online?hsLang=en).

**Please note:** your account is personal to you and you're not allowed to share your username and password with other people.
