The arbitrary time added to the end of Scribes must be eliminated for these reasons:
A well-established mechanism exists to add pauses after any object
The arbitrary time added is not reflected in the video length reported on the timeline
VideoScribe cannot be used to create precision timed videos
Imagine if Microsoft Word added arbitrary characters to the end of every document! Or Adobe Illustrator added arbitrary strokes! Can you name one other animation or video package that adds arbitrary time to the end of productions? There aren't any.

We are currently updating our Feature Request forums as the VideoScribe software has been through a series of updates since this was posted.
Unfortunately, this request was has not been implemented.
This can be due to a lack of demand or the feature was not compatible.
In this case the demand to keep the Extended Time option has outweighed the request to have it removed.

If you haven’t already, please try the latest version of VideoScribe and let us know if there are any other features that could be of benefit.
We look forward to hearing from you.
