  •  1) Please attach the MOV file if you want specific feedback on the MOV file.
    2) What version number of videoscribe are you using ?
    3) What version number of quicktime player are you using ?

  • I'm having the same issue as well. It took two hours and  rendered without any errors. But the rendered .mov file can't be opened either with VLC or iTunes.

I rerendered a couple of times but the result was the same.

    Any help would be great.

  • update: I tried to render in .avi but this time its getting stuck at Processing audio... Being said that I've no issues rendering 2-3min videos. Maybe there is a glitch or something that makes it impossible to render longer videos? about 13min in my case?

I look forward to hearing from the team.

  • 13 minutes is lonnng for a scribe. Videoscribe will only be able to process it if you have done a very good job of optimizing all of the images and camera settings etc.

you could try following these TIPS to avoid crashes, freezes, failure to render or erratic behavior (2015)
    or
save your project to the cloud and tell customer support the name of it if you want them to help you fix it.
    or
save your project as a .scribe file and attach it here.
    or
you could divide the scribe into 2 or 3 shorter scribes, render the videos separately and then use a video editor to combine them later. an easy way to break it up is to save the scribe locally with 3 different names (like "scribepart1" "scribepart2" "scribe part3") then open the first one and delete everything but the first 1/3 of the images in the timeline... and save it... open the second one and delete everything except the middle 1/3 of the images in the timeline.... and keep only the last 1/3 in the third one. If you have audio files you will probably have to add them when you combine the 3 finished videos.

  • Thanks, Mike!. All the images I use are in .svg format under 50kb. I will try splitting the scribe like you suggested and report back later.
