multiple elements getting selected

Answered
  • When I select an element and try to select another element leaving the first, it is selecting both the elements. I then have to manually deselect the previous element. This wastes a lot of my time. This happens most of the time if not always. This is damn irritating. Please tell me how can I solve this.

    1) In general if you click one element, either in the timeline or on the canvas, that element will be selected and all others will be deselected.

    2) If you hold the shift or ctrl key on your keyboard while you click, you can select multiple elements.

    3) If there is a problem with your scribe resulting in excessive memory usage, you might experience bugs that cause the selection process to work incorrectly. If that is the case, you could try restarting videoscribe or you could save your project to the cloud folder and ask customer support to look at it.

    4) The tips in the following thread might help you avoid problems with future scribes: TIPS to avoid crashes, freezes, failure to render or erratic behavior (2015)

(even if your specific symptom is not mentioned, many of the tips prevent memory related bugs)
