It would make the process a lot easier if VideoScribe had the option to render to MP4. It is the most popular and most enjoyable format for customers, so every time I have to render in AVI and then convert to MP4, if there was this option, we would get a considerable amount of time. It's even hard to understand how a software like VideoSrcribe doesn't have the option to render straight to MP4. Why doesn't this option exist yet?
If you publish your video to the Sho.co site, you can then download the file as an MP4.
Its possible that, by setting it up that way, Sparkol is able to avoid the extra cost of licensing and bundling the mp4 codec into their software, which would require making the software more expensive to rent. However that explanation is just speculation.
