-
- We're always working to add more content (images, templates and audio) and we have some exciting new features coming soon including brand kits and video uploads.
5. Is the latest version of VideoScribe available as a downloadable?
-
- Yes, you can now download the latest version of VideoScribe and install it on your local computer. It works the same as in your browser, but it's more forgiving when your connection dips.
Please note: Like the browser version, the desktop app doesn’t currently support full offline use.
While you’re offline you cannot:
- Create a new project
- Open an existing project or template
If you go offline with a project already open, you can keep editing, but you won’t be able to add new images or audio tracks from the VideoScribe libraries, only items you’ve already accessed (e.g. images in your Recently Used folder). You can also upload and use your own new images.
Important: Keep VideoScribe (or the VideoScribe browser tab) open until you’re back online so any changes made while offline can sync to our servers.
6. Should I start using the latest version now?
-
- The latest version of VideoScribe is much more powerful than the Legacy version, so we recommend you start using it as soon as you can for your new projects. While we will continue to support VideoScribe Legacy, it will only receive critical updates going forward, so we recommend only using it for your existing projects while you come up to speed on the latest version.
7. Can Legacy projects be opened in the latest version?
