Using VideoScribe offline
If you lose your internet connection whilst using VideoScribe, there are certain actions that you can still perform until you’re able to reconnect.
VideoScribe is intended to be used whilst fully connected to the internet. However, you needn’t worry if you lose your internet connection whilst editing your project, as you will be able to continue working on the project until you’re able to connect to the internet again.
If you lose your connection whilst editing, you will enter “offline mode” and you can continue to make changes to your project. Please note that your changes won't be saved until you reconnect to the internet. Once you reconnect, any changes that you have made to your project will be automatically synced online.
Please note: If you close the app without reconnecting to the internet after making changes offline, these changes will be lost.
- Opening a different project or template
- Accessing the VideoScribe image library (you will still be able to use images in the ‘Your files’ and ‘Recently used’ sections)
- Accessing the VideoScribe music library
- AI features
- Hand and pen options
- Downloading your project as an MP4 or GIF
To use these features, you must reconnect to the internet.
