Select your preferred style of image, enter a text prompt, and let AI create the perfect image
Create your perfect image with VideoScribe’s AI image generation. Click the ‘AI’ button to access VideoScribe’s AI tools. Select the ‘Generate images with prompts’ section to get started.
Please note: This beta feature is currently only available to a select group of users who are testing the early version. It’s not yet widely available, but we’re actively developing it. It will only be available in the browser version of VideoScribe. If you’re interested in joining the beta waitlist, you can sign up here.
Generating your image
- Choose your image style
- Highlight: VideoScribe's signature black-and-white outline, with blue highlights - perfect for focusing attention on key elements
- Color: Full-color illustrations that add vibrancy and detail to your scribe, while still maintaining the classic VideoScribe aesthetic
- Write your prompt
- Describe what you want to see, including key details like objects, people, backgrounds, and actions to guide the AI in creating your image. The more details the better.
- Generate your images
- Click the ‘Generate AI’ button to create your images. You will get two images per generation.
You can make up to 250 image generations during the beta period.
Top tip: The key to generating the best images is a clear, detailed prompt. Include specifics like subject, style, colors, and mood. For example, instead of “a cat,” try “a playful orange tabby cat sitting by a window in soft morning light.” The more details, the better!
Rating your images
Since AI image generation is currently in beta, you'll need to rate and provide feedback on both of the generated images before adding them to your canvas. This helps us improve the feature for future updates.
- Rate your images
- Using the smiley face scale, click on one of the faces to rate your generated image (bad, okay, good). You must do this for both of the generated images.
- Provide more feedback (Optional)
- Click 'Provide More Feedback' to report any issues with the image. Select all the options that apply.
- Add in extra comments or details
- Explain in further detail what the issues are with the images. This will help us to improve the feature!
Using your images
Once you have rated your images and provided feedback, you can use the ‘Add to project’ button to add the images directly to your canvas.
All your AI-generated images will appear in the image library, under the ‘AI images’ category.
Please note: The ‘AI Images’ folder is temporary and will only be accessible during the beta period. If you want to access the images you generated after the beta trial, be sure to add them to your project.
If you aren’t happy with the generated images or are looking for something different, you have the following options:
- Edit: Click this button to edit your current prompt and regenerate the images.
- Try a new prompt: Click this button to start the process over again. You can input a new prompt.
- Regenerate: Click this button to create new versions of the images based on the same prompt, offering alternative results.
Processing your image to customize colors
To customize the colors of your AI-generated images, select the image and use the "Enable color change" button in the right-hand panel. This process creates a new version of your image with simplified colors, allowing you to adjust its colors. Both the original and simplified versions of the image will be available in your image library for easy access.
Please note that the color simplification may affect the quality of the image. If you wish to revert to the original image, simply click undo or use the keyboard shortcut.
