  • Hello,

I like to combine  1) message popup with 2) text inside it together and move it into the screen together. Is this possible

  • There is not currently a built-in way to use move-in to move two images together onto the canvas. To do that, you will need to combine them into a single image using Photoshop or Gimp (free at gimp.org) or Illustrator or inkscape (available free at inkscape.org)

    1) add the message popup to your videoscribe canvas
    2) right-click it and export it as an SVG image to your hard drive
    3) open the message popup SVG in inkscape or illustrator (or photoshop or gimp)
    4) add your text using the text tool
    5) if using inkscape or illustrator you could convert the text to outlines/paths (not necessary for photoshop or gimp)
    6) save the whole thing as a new SVG (if you are using illustrator or inkscape) with a different name. (or a jpg or png if you are using photoshop or gimp)

You should now be able to import the new SVG (or jpg or png ) and use "move in"  in videoscribe

    Hope that helps,

  • Instead of all that trouble, you could set the draw time and transition time for the popup to zero and delete the pause after it and then set the draw time for the text to zero.

That would make the message popup and the text seem to appear (already in position) simultaneously I think.
