I just started using VideoScribe and I would very much want to use the Basic (default) font. I just notced that one of the ordinary Swedish letters doesn't exist, the Å (and A with a little circle on top). Could this be added? This would open up for more Swedish users right now it's impossible to use.
Thank you very much

The Basic font in VideoScribe only has a limited character set. However you import fonts into VideoScribe and the Å character is supported by the application as long as the imported font has it within the set.

Okey, yes, I understand I can change. Just thought that since Basic is your default "trade mark" font, you would be interested in having all the most common charachters. I'll look for something else. Thanks

This character and others that were missing, have been added to the Basic font in the latest version of VideoScribe - 2.3.4. Download the latest version from https://www.videoscribe.co/en/download.

Hi Matthew, I have the same problem with Slovakian letters: ľ,š,č,ť,ž,ý,á,í,é also capitals. Is it possible to add it to next version of VideoScribe? I would be so pleased.
Thanks a lot.

In case you missed Barry's post from a year ago: 'The Basic font in VideoScribe only has a limited character set. However you import fonts into VideoScribe and the Å character is supported by the application as long as the imported font has it within the set'.
You will be able to use those Slovakian characters with fonts other than the 'Basic' (default) font by making sure you select 'Latin Extended' in the import options when you import a new font into VideoScribe. If you have already imported the font you would like to use but not sure whether you selected 'Latin Extended', delete the font and import it again.
I will check to see what the limitations are for the Basic font in terms of supporting different character sets. If it is possible for those characters to be supported I will request that they are considered for inclusion in a future release of VideoScribe.

Yes, it would be great if Basic font included diacritic baltic signs: č, ž, š, đ, ć. Thanks
