Hello, I am having problems selecting multiple items, the function was previously working, then started failing which I could resolve by closing and reopening, though now I can't get it to work all. I have also tried installing the latest version, but still no success. Please help.

Some problematic SVGs can cause that symptom (and other symptoms with the timeline or editing controls). Or the problem might be something else. As a test...If you restart videoscribe and create a new blank scribe with about 4 or 5 regular library images, does it work correctly? (that might indicate we need to have a look at how your images are formatted)
You can save your work file online and tell customer support the name of it if you want them to have a look at it.
Hope that helps,

Hi Mike,
I have tries what you recommended and it worked fine with the generic images. In saying that, after doing this I returned to my original file and it worked fine with my images as well. I don't know if this has resolved the problem. I noticed earlier that any of the cntrl + functions had stopped working too, (eg: cntrl + S to save), and these are working now too. I prepare my SVG's specifically as instructed on your site so I don't think that this should be the issue.
Thanks for your help, I'll let you know if it happens again.

Yes, The symptoms you described, including loss of ctrl functions like save, copy and paste, and multiple select, are all known to be caused by problematic SVGs. restarting videoscribe may temporarily reset the functionality but the symptoms will probably come back if you keep using the problematic SVGs.
You could also try running your SVGs through the SVG cleaner mentioned in that thread.

Ok Thanks Mike. There was one difference in the save settings that I found. I have resaved some of my SVGs with these exact settings and this seems to have resolved the issue for now.

Here is a related thread with some suggested SVG save settings to prevent the problems:
Copy and Paste (and other functions) stopped working.
