On the front Project Screen (where you can see all your saved scribes) there is a settings option in the bottom left (cog icon). One of the options under there sets the default import quality for images

hey! does the Default Quality determine which Resolution the longest border of the Image has? If yes - is it always down/upscaled to that amount with its total Resolution or just for the size it is placed on the canvas...?

The image quality sets the maximum pixels across the width of the imported image.
The import size of the item placed on the canvas is set by your relative camera position so it will insert things at different 'appropriate' sizes at different zoom levels
Hej,
How do i get the best quality on importing .jpg image or a .png?
I really want them to be .jpg and not a vector file. Is it possible to get a better quality?
