So my SVG file i input from Adobe Illustrator CC is being traced nicely but at the end it begins retracing the image. I'm not too sure why this is happening since the Illustrator file only has one layer with all the strokes inside it and nothing else.

So my SVG file i input from Adobe Illustrator CC is being traced nicely but at the end it begins retracing the image. I'm not too sure why this is happening since the Illustrator file only has one layer with all the strokes inside it and nothing else.

The illustrator file has a layer named"Strokes" which contains two more layers (two copies of the same set of paths).
delete one of those copies and you should be fine.
