Yes, it's a big issue to seek a universal solution.
I think a lot of benefit and success would come from a focused solution just for text, where so much of hand and pens are involved.
VideoScribe knows when it's writing text and it knows the size of the text - whether enlarged or reduced, it has an absolute basis in the text structure itself. If the hand and pen was always sized relative to the text it was writing, it would finally be in visual sync.
This seems a doable step.
