Scribe won't export

  • Hi,

I need help with my scribe. I am on a free trial version of videoscribe which expires tomorrow.

I have created a scribe, and am now trying to export it. I need to submit it for a uni assignment which is due in a week. I am hoping to purchase the full version of videoscribe, but don't want to do so until I know that I can export my scribes okay.

I don't care how I export the scribe, I just need to be able to send it online or put it on a usb. It's a video though and I need the audio so the PDF format won't work.

I tried to export it online, but it says that it has failed and to check my internet connection. I have tried 2 internet connections and used a mobile hotspot, so I'm convinced that the internet isn't the problem. Also when I click 'export online' it says that my scribe already exists online and asks if I want to overwrite it. Except that I've checked online, and although it says it's there, when I click on it, it says error and has this:

    <Message>Access Denied</Message>

Not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I said I want to buy videoscribe for future projects, but don't want to until I know that it works properly and I can export files. Also when I click export to computer it creates a file, but one that is only accessible by running videoscribe, which obviously isn't much help for sending it to people who don't have the program.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,
Free users can only render video directly to youtube, facebook or a powerpoint file. I can't tell , based on what you wrote, if you are trying to do any of those things.

If you think there is a problem with your scribe or if you want somone to try to render it:
Attach the .scribe fie (export to computer) here if you want help from the community.

Save your work file to the cloud and tell customer support the name of it if you want them to troubleshoot it for you

Read this list of things to avoid or fix, if you want to troubleshoot it yourself: TIPS to avoid crashes, freezes, failure to render or erratic behavior (2015)
