Is there a way to change the image chosen for the snapshot of the video when rendered? Right now it is from the first few seconds of the video and I was curious if we could change this to be a specific portion of the video so when customers see the video online they don't just see a random half sentence.

This is not something that is set or changed within videoscribe. Different video players, websites, and even computer file browsers assign preview images differently.
I suspect that there are a variety of ways to set the "still" image or "preview" image on websites depending on the programming language used. If you have a company website, speak to the programmer. If you are using a prefabricated site of some type, consult their help section.
