I import SVG files and they show up fine and in color; however, when I have them drawn the hand that draws them moves extremely fast and then when it colors in the object it seems to just color it with a paint bucket versus a brush. ANy solutons?

There are quite a few threads discussing SVGs, the difference between basic stroked paths and paintbrush strokes and color fills, and many other issues that can affect the way things are drawn in videoscribe.
look specifically for terms like color fills, filled paths, and how to to make colors "draw" well.
