Anyone know why, when replacing the exact same image, the new one comes in at a different scale and position? Thanks

Under what circumstances would you need to replace an image with the exact same image?
Perhaps you may not be describing the situation accurately.
Do you mean deleting an image and then importing the image again?
import size can be affected by zoom level and default image quality among other factors

Thanks, it is the same image, but with either adjusted anchor points, or stroke thickness adjusted; then re-saved in Illustrator. Could it be the way I'm saving?

many of the possible changes you make to an SVG may affect the size or position of it in videoscribe.
That includes anchor point changes, save settings, and many other options.
