I am trying VideoScribe for the first time. I want to draw a graph. So I have the vertical and horizontal axes drawn, then I want to add dots. That gives rise to the first question: I see how I can add a circle. How can I make this a filled-in circle? So I have placed 3 circles on the screen and positioned them as desired. When I click Play, the vertical and horizontal axes get draw, then are swept away, then my first circle gets drawn, then it gets swept away. And so on. How can I keep these items in view and let them accumulate?
if you think your problem is something else, then maybe link to a youtube video of it , or save it as a .scribe file and attach it here.

I don't understand what you're saying.

I think the problem is that you are not setting the camera properly... so the camera is moving when you don't want it to move.
Read the guide then start over with a new scribe setting the camera for each element.

I googled "videoscribe camera" and found a brief tutorial showing how to make the presentation work the way it should. However, when I click on the camera icon, it seems to be disabled. I am using a free trial. Do I have to buy a subscription?
In my opinion, I should not have been allowed to run into this problem. Videoscribe should have informed me about these things in one of its tutorials. It seems to me that a lot of potential customers will encounter the same things I did and develop the same negative impressions I did. Also, it doesn't make sense that I should have to "set the camera" for each of the elements I want to add to my drawing. That's just a weird concept. And if the camera is disabled in the free trial, I would suggest popping up a bubble message whenever the camera is clicked, saying "This feature is available in the paid version."

The camera is not disabled in the trial. you have to select an element beforeyou can click the "set camera" icon. it will be greyed out if no element is selected.
You don't HAVE to set the camera... but if you don't, then videoscribe assigns a default camera position that will probably not be what you want.
I did have an element selected when I clicked the camera icon. The camera icon was not grayed out at the time. It turned red when I hovered over it or clicked it.
There is no point in talking any further about this. I am finished trying to use VideoScribe and I'm moving on to another approach to getting the job done. Thanks anyway.

yeah.. red indicates that you are hovering over the icon... they all kinda do that...
(note to customer support for the UI team: red usually means there is a PROBLEM...)
you could save your project as a .scribe file and attach it here if you want specific feedback.

I started a suggestion thread that videoscribe should automatically set the camera position wherever it is when you import an element... but it did not get much support.. so I guess not many people have that problem.
