Publishing My Scribe on sho.co

  • Hey there, I am trying to publish my scribe on sho.co. I purchased the videoscribe monthly plan today because it would not upload to youtube all day yesterday.  I need this video done for a grad school assignment preferably today, could do tomorrow. Can anyone help me? The screen just says "Publishing...Hang in there, your video will be ready soon."

    The link is http://sho.co/17Z7H and the embed code is <iframe width="720" height="447" src="http://sho.co/embed/17Z7H" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  • save your scribe project as a .scribe file and attach it here for help from the community.

save your project to the cloud folder and tell customer support the name of it if you want help from them (during UK business hours) and also probably click "my tickets" at the top of this page to raise a ticket.

  • Thank you. Hopefully this will work.

I have attached it as an ".scribe file"

It says it is still trying to publish on sho.co as well, but would really appreciate if I could know if it will be ready soon.

  • Thanks Emily.

My guess is that excessive zoom levels are causing the problem. There are other possibilities but that seems like the most obvious issue

By the time the scribe finished opening for me, videoscribe would not even give me a zoom (magnification) reading and then it stopped responding. As the zoom level of a scribe drops below about 10 or 20% or rises above about 1000 or 2000%, videoscribe starts requiring more and more memory and may freeze. the sho.co rendering engine probably locked up as well.

I closed and re-opened videoscribe and tried to scale down some of the larger elements and arrange them closer together but videoscribe froze before I could finish saving.  I will try again.

  • Unfortunately it crashes the program every time I try to edit it.

I don't necessarily recommend this, but I opened the scribe file and deleted the last 3 paragraphs (6 text elements) and then videoscribe was able to handle the file, so I re-arranged it a bit. I'm trying to get the last 3 paragraphs back in there somehow.

  • I had no luck adding the last three paragraphs back in (starting with "organizational structure")

but I'm going to attach the slightly rearranged version in case you have trouble opening your full version...
you would just have to add the last 3 paragraphs in the  empty area in the lower right.

  • Thank you for taking the time to help me!!! I want able to add the last three parts either, but I made it into smaller parts, uploaded each of the videos on YouTube and then combined them to make one project on a moviemaker software. It all worked out! Thanks again!!!!
  • oh good thinking!
