VERY Frustrating... Want to use IMAGE as paper / background.

  • All I want to do is use a 1920 x 1080 image as the "paper" which I can't do. So...If I bring it in as an image... the alignment and movement issues are a nightmare.

I do this to export a video and then bring it into Vegas FYI.

It's SUCH a simple request. Let us start with a 1920 x 1080 background (use your own paper) that DOES NOT MOVE.... and then let us "hand write" on top of that / add frames and then export as video.

  • A better solution might be to use a green background in videoscribe,  and then use chroma key in vegas to remove the videoscribe background, and composite it over whatever background you are using in vegas.

That would eliminate the need for perfect scaling, position matching and color correcting between the two video sources.

  • Thanks........ I keep getting "work arounds" and I do appreciate that suggestions.
However, sometimes I create 20 - 50 of these per video and TIME... and ease... is important.
It would make EVERYONE'S life so easy if they simply allow a JPG to replace the PAPER.
i.e. While editing in the time of Vegas or Movie studio, etc, you grab a screen shot and bring it in to VS to edit.
    Just frustrated... sorry.
