Does anyone know how I would create a scribe in video scribe and then lay it over video in Avid or Adobe Premiere? Or is there a way to use my own imported video as the "background" of the scribe?

option 1: make a scribe with no background colors. The export it as a transparent PNG sequence which you can import into the other program.
option 2: use a green background , export a video and use chroma-key background removal options in your video editing software to remove the background.
note: if you use any images with white backgrounds in your project, they will still have white backgrounds in the finished project.
