What am I doing wrong? I used a template and at one time I could add text or an image and move each one individually. Now, when when I insert something and go to center it, it moves everything as though it's grouped as one. Thanks for the advice! I won't be subscribing if this is normal.

Hi,
If you click on a blank area of the canvas and drag it, the whole canvas and everything on the canvas will move together.
If you click and drag an element(image or text) without first selecting it, you might still drag the whole canvas and everything on it.
If you would like to move an element, first select the element by clicking it or by clicking on its thumbnail image in the timeline at the bottom of the screen. You can tell it is selected because a rectangular bounding box will appear around it. Then you can either use your keyboard arrow keys to move it, or you can click and drag on the element.
